I stayed here this past summer and it was great! Even though it’s not over the bridge, it is close to many places around Brunswick County and is only about a 5-10 min drive to the beach, depending on where you park over the bridge! The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. I recommended this place if you are looking for a reasonable priced place to stay right off the bridge of Holden Beach.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are always clean. It was very quiet. It was nice to see Linda, Herbie, and the gang again.
They are the nicest people to rent from so convenient got the food Lion Walgreens and a bunch of shops right there you can walk to and then you just go over the bridge and there's Holden Beach awesome
If you want a no hassle fair price rental, this is the place. Close to the beach. The owners are so friendly and very helpful. We have been there twice now and will be going again. The housekeepers were kind enough to switch our towels and leave them inside ( we didn’t want housekeeping). No hassle fees (what you see as price is what you pay). The pool looked very nice and clean. Too cold for swimming this visit but def next time. Can’t wait to return!!!
My granddaughter and I stayed at gray gull in October 2024, our first visit to holden beach. The room was nice and clean. The owners were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed here for an extended weekend in one of the two queen bed rooms. Very clean and conveniently located next to shopping, breakfast spots, and right across the bridge from the beach. The pool was really nice to have and it was very clean. Housekeeping left plenty of linens and did a great job cleaning. Friendly staff. We would stay here again.
We've been going to Gray Gull for going on 14 years. The family that runs it also have a hardware store that sits out front. The motel is located on the mainland before the bridge to the island, close to all the shops and a couple restaurants. The rooms are all updated and always clean. The motel has a pool, a picnic area with a grill, some tables and a swing. Holden will always be our place and it's so nice having a place like Gray Gull to stay!
My wife and I have wanted to stay here for some time, and we finally had a chance. Very clean, good water pressure in the shower, and very quiet. We hope to stay again in the future. Support the locals and buy something in the hardware store. (not a paid ad)
